Kim sets the direction for Civilis and ensures clients and team members alike are successful and fulfilled. Prior to Civilis, Kim founded Kimberly Troy Consulting, which works with field-based wildlife conservation organizations – primarily in southern Africa – to improve utilization of financial and human resources. She has also held executive-level positions in Human Resources, Operations and Sales for some of the world’s largest retailers, including L Brands.Kim speaks on topics such as building strong company cultures, adopting relationship-based selling models, and marketing and communication strategies that drive revenue instead of clicks. She is an expert facilitator, a Prosci® certified Change Management practitioner, and a certified DDI® Targeted Selection trainer.

For the past decade, Allison has been delivering unprecedented results for B2C and B2B enterprises. Her passion for developing individuals and teams translates to her success in developing systems to help organizations overcome operational challenges. Her expertise includes genuine and clean communications, top-notch client service, process development, and staff training. Allison is active in the animal rescue community and enjoys visiting the far corners of the globe.

Lou brings decades of experience in marketing, business management, and research design and analytics to Civilis and is integral to the implementation of the company’s marketing strategies. Prior to joining Civilis, Lou was an independent marketing and research consultant conducting projects for a variety of local and national consumer brands. His past experience includes VP of Sales and Client Services for Edison Media Research, a leading firm in media insights and political polling, and VP of Research & Strategy for Strategic Media Research in Chicago, a two-time Inc. 500 market research firm specializing in the radio, television, and entertainment industries.Lou is also an accomplished professional photographer and photo retoucher. His architectural and portrait work is heavily in demand and relied upon in the Chicago suburbs.

With a unique blend of problem-solving creativity and attention to detail, Matt brings passion for new challenges and opportunities to Civilis. Matt has over 30 years’ experience in specialty retailing, having held executive-level positions in store operations, e-commerce, B2B & B2C sales, information technology & contact center management and manufacturing/distribution operations. Prior to launching his career in the civilian sector, Matt held field combat unit leadership positions and was a weapons tactical instructor while assigned to the US Army’s 82nd Airborne Division. In addition to working with clients in a wide variety of verticals on strategy, culture, marketing and operational execution, Matt keeps his problem-solving skills sharp as a world-class endurance athlete, competing around the world in long-distance triathlons, open water swimming and ultra-running. And, he is currently completing Six Sigma Black Belt Certification.

Cyndi brings with her 25 plus years of experience and leadership in the retail, consumer, outsourcing, consulting and print industry. Throughout her career, she has helped some of the world’s most recognizable brands transform their business with a focus on marketing supply chain transformation. Cyndi has held various leadership roles in marketing and operations, managing large-scale print procurement, operations and business transformation initiatives.She is a results-focused executive with experience in both the client and the supplier setting, giving her a unique perspective in the business transformation process. She delivers the big picture strategy as well as the technical know-how to execute. She leads complex opportunities with vision for start-ups and/or mature businesses. When not working Cyndi enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, reading, working out and pursuing her passion of photography.

Prior to Civilis, he founded TroyResearch, a global market research firm, in 1997 and still leads that company today. TroyResearch works with major brands to develop winning market penetration strategies for new and existing products and services. In addition, TroyResearch’s entertainment and media division tracks evolving consumer tastes in movies, television and music for clients on five continents. Bill is past president of the Columbus, Ohio, chapter of Entrepreneurs’ Organization, the premier, peer-to-peer, global community, network and resource for entrepreneurs.

Matt brings 30 years of leadership experience in consumer product sales and account management for some of the biggest distributors of Home Entertainment products in North America. He has successfully managed some of the most recognizable but challenging national retail accounts in the US and Canada, turning those customers into profitable long-term business partners.
As a seasoned leader of cross functional teams, Matt’s expertise spans all phases of the sales process including brand and retail marketing, supply chain, operations, and sales planning & analysis. Bringing together the right resources to solve complex problems, Matt creates an overall vision for his clients, develops a comprehensive plan for strategic sales and marketing, and executes shoulder-to-shoulder to realize success. While these strategies are designed to match the goals of the client with the specific needs of their customers, the most rewarding part of the work for Matt is seeing clients’ excitement in net revenue gains, sales growth, cost reduction, uncovering hidden sources of revenue, and finding efficiencies within the Supply Chain. He owes much of this success to his ability to build long-term relationships both internally and all levels of the customer.
